Jena Nelson Hosting Yukon Town Hall Monday, October 20

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (Oct. 15, 2025) — CD-5 Congressional Candidate Jena Nelson will host an in-person town hall at Yukon’s Dale Robertson Center on Monday, October 20, from 6 to 8pm. The event is open to all CD-5 residents, regardless of party affiliation. 

This marks the campaign’s fourth town hall event in less than two months. The current CD-5 Representative, Stephanie Bice, has avoided in-person town halls for more than four years, relying instead on heavily scripted, pre-screened telephone events. Bice claims she’s too frightened of her constituents to face them in person. 

“Town halls are a pillar of democracy and the most direct way for people to engage with their elected officials,” Nelson said. ”I’m so excited to visit Yukon and talk about how we can make CD-5 a better place for all of us. I wish my opponent felt the same.”
