Jena Nelson’s First Town Hall a Success

Seminole Event Saw More Than 120 Attendees

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (Aug. 27, 2025) — CD-5 Congressional Candidate Jena Nelson held her first town hall Tuesday, August 26, at Seminole State College. More than 120 Oklahomans attended the in-person event and participated in a civil discussion about how to improve the district, state and nation.

Images and video from the event are available below.

The date of the event marked four years since Stephanie Bice last hosted an in-person town hall on August 26, 2021. Jena extended an invite to Congresswoman Bice to join her event, but the invitation went ignored. An empty stool reserved for Bice remained on-stage throughout the event in case she decided to attend.

“People are fired up and ready for leadership that is accountable, responsive and competent,” Nelson said. ”I was absolutely thrilled to see a room full of engaged Oklahomans asking important questions about their government. These folks made it clear they want someone who would work for their best interests instead of someone who serves only as a rubberstamp for a corrupt President.”Information about future town halls and other community events will be shared Jena Nelson’s social media and online at JenaNelson.com.
