OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (Dec. 30, 2025) — OK-5 Congressional Candidate Jena Nelson shared the top ten reasons to send Stephanie Bice packing in 2026. While presented in the spirit of a traditional year-end top ten list, the issues it contains are of most urgency for OK-5 constituents.
“Oklahomans deserve a representative who will fight for their best interests, not those of millionaires and billionaires,” Nelson said. “I believe Oklahomans should have quality schools, affordable groceries and accessible healthcare – my opponent doesn’t.”
10. Stephanie Bice uses our tax dollars to send campaign materials to voters. In a flagrant violation of “Franking” privilege, Bice uses our tax dollars to send campaign materials to voters. Not only is she lying about supporting seniors while she slashes Medicare, but she also claims to support working families while she cuts their healthcare.
9. Stephanie Bice drives up national debt. Debt isn’t an issue that many officials want to discuss, but I want to be honest and frank: it’s a big problem. During Trump’s first term the national debt rose by about $8.2 trillion and in the last year, he’s already raised the debt by another $3.7 trillion, a debit Stephanie Bice knowingly voted for.
8. Stephanie Bice has done nothing to address skyrocketing prices. Grocery cost increases are squeezing working Oklahoma families harder than ever. Stephanie Bice’s failed leadership and inability to rein in inflation coupled with Trump’s bizarre tariffs are responsible for this. It’s time we elect people who put real solutions on the table.

6. Stephanie Bice is a corporate stooge. D-… That’s the grade the folks at Integrity Index gave to Stephanie Bice. Most of her campaign money is from big PACs and corporations. In fact, only 13 percent of her donations come from small donors.
5. Stephanie Bice compared Democrats to Hamas. In an October 30th Washington Reporter article, she compared Democrats’ work to protect healthcare access and affordability for Americans to a group of Islamic extremists who murdered 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023.
4. Stephanie Bice supports healthcare cuts. If she gets her way, a typical Oklahoman living in her district insured through the ACA will see their monthly premium increase by an astonishing 81 percent! With the price of everything skyrocketing, I don’t know many people who can afford their health insurance price doubling. An independent analysis says these cuts will put 47 rural Oklahoma hospitals at risk of closing. These cuts will also mean 100,000 Oklahomans will lose their insurance.
3. Stephanie Bice favors dismantling special education funding. She did nothing to stop the dismantling of special education at the Department of Education. Instead of doing anything to help Oklahoma’s most vulnerable students, my bootlicking opponent is too busy slathering praise on the narcissist-in-chief.

1. Stephanie Bice is too scared to hold in-person town halls. It’s been more than four years since she held her last in-person town hall or open forum event on August 26, 2021.
